Welcome to My Portfolio

Welcome to Content by Connie! Let this be an insight into what I have created for various projects, companies, and clubs. Since the day I posted my first YouTube video, I have been growing my understanding and love of social media advertising as well as my presence on various platforms. I have found time and time again that being able to advertise myself, brands, and ideas on social media is a passion of mine. For example, during my high school senior year, I meticulously planned an upload schedule for my college decision videos on my YouTube, ensuring that my content would match the trend cycle and gain views. In addition, discovering small artists on TikTok and promoting their songs has allowed me to receive early access to their song releases. In both of these examples, I have found that advertising an idea on social media is extremely valuable. Over the past few years my passion projects and activities within student organizations kept coming back to one thing: advertising.

The Importance of Marketing to the Fangirl

There is one thing everyone knows about me, at my core I am a fangirl. That bleeds into all I do but it also is a big aspect as to what I want to do. I grew up on social media and that turned into creating content promoting my favorite artists. I have used social media to forge some amazing friendships and relationships with artists. With that has come some amazing fun facts for the first day of school. So with that I leave you two truths and a lie; I am on Taylor Swift’s team’s instagram, Olivia Rodrigo invited me to prom, and I met Kelsea Ballerini. I know the power of social media and how important it can be to the success of an artist. 
With each of these comes a story, and a story about how marketing to the fangirl can create lasting memories.
